The EHFG, since its founding in 1998, has established itself as an important international meeting place at which to exchange and integrate perspectives and experience. In 2009, around 600 visitors from 39 countries attended. In 2010, Bad Hofgastein will again be the venue for in-depth discussion between representatives of politics, management, science and research, industry and civil society ? in dynamic interaction involving the key players of the 27 EU members states, the European Economic Area states and the other 52 countries of the Europe region of the WHO.
This year's Forum will be addressed by high-ranking speakers such as: Austrian minister of health Alois Stöger, EU health commissioner John Dalli, WHO regional director Zsuszana Jakab, president of Belgium's ministry for public health, food safety and environment Dirk Cuypers, director-general of the DG for health and consumers Paola Testori Coggi, director-general of the DG information society and media department Robert Madelin, Audi AG CEO Werner Widuckel and numerous experts, including Ilona Kickbusch, Martin McKnee and Matthias Horx.
Around 20 ministers and state secretaries from around the world are expected to attend this year's EHFG. The Congress offers you optimal opportunities for contacts and interviews with top-level politicians and experts on a broad range of current issues in European health policy.
